Emmanuelle Joly

Emmanuelle has lived on the Basque coast since she was born : the water has always been her backyard. Naturally gifted, she has worked for many years to learn how to get the most out of every aspect of a wave. During these years, she has won many titles.
As a member of the French national surf team for the last 10 years, she was one of the pioneers for women's surfing in France.

Her mission
Emmanuelle Joly works in close collaboration with Tribord and is involved in every step of the design process from the definition of requirements and the choice of components to the final product tests.
A few example :
- On Australia's Gold Coast and in the Mister Price Pro competition in South africa, she tested the long-sleeved shorty and the Inergy shorty;
- In the Copa Movistar WQS 5* competition in Peru and in the Margaret River Bico Classic 6* competition in Australia she tested the Inergy 3/2;
- She tested the new ladies' shorty models whilst surfing in Huntington Beach, California and during the Beach Games competition.

Emmanuelle Joly is currently a professional surfer. She's the most successful female French surfer of all time :
- Member of the national surf team since 1991
- 5 times European champion
- Finalist at the Worl Surfing Games 98
- 1st at the WQS 5*, Newquay 2003
