Nicolas Capdeville

Nicolas the must successful bodyboarder in history, discovered the sport during his rehabilitation following a motorcycle accident in 1986. His wildest dream : to bodyboard one day in weightless conditions!
He also has a training centre in Mimizan (southwest of France), where he teaches surfing and bodyboarding and where Tribord's products play an important role.

His mission
As a surfing and bodyboarding instructor, Nicolas Capdeville develops Tribord products alongside our research and development teams. He contributes towards the setting up of Tribord's range from the definition of bodyboarder's requirements to the final product tests.
From recreational and expert boards to technical surfwear, we benefit from Nicolas' expert eye on a daily basis to ensure that each product is totally adapted to the demands of surf sports. 

Since we signed up Nicolas, our partnership has lead to the testing of several prototypes which have evolved into 2 new bodyboards : the BB 300 for beginnners and intermediates and the BB 700 for more experienced bodyboarders.

Nicolas Capdeville :
- Three times world bodyboarding champion (International Surfing Association : 1992 and 2002, Global Oragnisation of Bodyboarder : 2002/2003 season);
- Double European champion (1993 and 2002);
- 6 times French national champion.
